Enrollment up in Ohio schools

Enrollment in Ohio's public colleges and universities has increased for the second consecutive year, according to the Ohio Board of Regents. Applications for admission to Miami are up 55 percent from fall 2007, according to Director of Admission Laurie Koehler.… Post the First Comment

University senate approves masters program for foreign language education licensure

The Miami University senate approved a new Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Foreign Language Education Monday. The program allows students to earn their master's degree and teacher licensure at the graduate level. Zeta, Sigma Nu new philanthropy to bowl for breast cancer awareness

Junior Western major uses award money to build 3D self-replicating machine

Many students take $1000 and put it towards personal expenses. Junior Greg Cook put his 2008 Catharine A. Gerber Award money toward building a machine that could potentially revolutionize the art, architecture and manufacturing industries. Medical school acceptance increase may not affect MU

To counteract a decrease in the number of students entering the medical field, medical schools have increased acceptance rates since 2007, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
