Fro-yo shop to serve Oxford
Twenty-six W. High St. in uptown Oxford has stood empty for three years. This will no longer be the case in January, when the new frozen yogurt shop, B.T.O. (By The Ounce) Self Serve Yogurt, will make its home in the newly renovated building. Tom Girardot, project manager of Park Place Real Estate, said it's an "incredibly awesome feeling" to finally have the empty spaced filled.… 5 Comments

Rumpke adds more recycling options for city

Since 1987 the Oxford community has used Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. for its solid waste removal and recycling. With city council's unanimous approval at Tuesday's meeting, a new 2-year agreement will be in effect Jan. 1, 2010. Prior to 1987, Oxford handled its own waste removal and recycling by using the Oxford Landfill.… 2 Comments
