Oprah invites Miami first-year on show

A Miami University first-year was featured on the Oct. 22 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Lexie Kadlec was filmed live on campus while her father, Dan Kadlec-a writer for Money Magazine-was in the Oprah studio in Chicago. Lexie was the subject of one of her father's articles, "A Letter to My College-Bound Daughter," which discussed tips on finance and credit cards during her time at college. Lexie spoke with Oprah through Skype from an off-campus apartment. She told Oprah how she's been doing now that she's out on her own and how she's following her dad's advice.
