Athletic department invites fans to star in commercial

Miami University Athletics wants to feature RedHawk fans in its upcoming advertising campaign. The department has issued a casting call for people of all ages who would like to help shoot TV commercials to promote RedHawk football across Ohio, including tailgating and stadium crowd shots.
"We want to pack Paul Brown Stadium and Yager Stadium this year with Miami fans," said Head Coach Michael Haywood, "and we want to spread the word throughout Ohio with these commercials. What better sales people than RedHawk fans themselves?"
Fans looking to participate should arrive by 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the west side of Yager Stadium. Participants are asked to wear red Miami gear. Free food and a chance to win a VIP game day experience at a Miami football game will also be available.
Miami Alumnus Mike Stratta, executive producer of LimeGreen Entertainment Group, will head the commercial film shoot.
"With so many Miami alumni throughout Oxford and the surrounding counties, it just made sense to ask them to come out for the commercial," Stratta said. "It's always great when you have the opportunity to include everyday fans and alumni in an actual production."

This would have been a lot of fun - too bad we were not notified until July 9th when the event was on June 27th.
